Each takes a minute. ### The Telybot plugin A small plugin of our own, **Telybot**, which adds the widget script for you and gives the client id a proper settings field. It is not in the WordPress.org directory yet, so it installs from a zip: 1. Download the `wordpress/keyda-bot` folder from [github.com/telybotai/telybot-Sdks](https://github.com/telybotai/telybot-Sdks) and zip it (the zip must contain the `keyda-bot` folder itself). 2. In WordPress, go to **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin**, choose the zip and activate it. 3. Go to **Settings → Telybot** and paste the client id from your dashboard's Install page — the id itself (`kb_live_…`), not the whole script tag. 4. Save. Open your site in a new tab — the chat button should be there. The plugin draws nothing of its own: the greeting, colours and answers all come from your dashboard, so a change there is live on your site straight away with no plugin update. ### The simple way: a snippet plugin 1. In WordPress, go to **Plugins → Add New** and install **WPCode** (or any "insert headers and footers" plugin). 2. Open **Code Snippets → Header & Footer**. 3. Paste your line into the **Footer** box: ```html ``` 4. Save. Open your site in a new tab — the chat button should be there. This survives theme updates, which is why we recommend it. ### The direct way: your theme footer 1. Go to **Appearance → Theme File Editor**. 2. Open `footer.php`. 3. Paste the same line just above ``. 4. Update the file. > If you use this method, note that switching or updating your theme can remove the code. The snippet plugin above avoids that. ### WooCommerce shops Nothing extra to do — the assistant works on product pages, cart and checkout like any other page. Worth training it on your shipping and returns pages, since that is what shoppers ask about before buying.
